EEOC Delays EEO-1 Filing Requirement

The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission announced on May 7th that it will delay collection of EEO-1 data from employers until March of 2021.

The decision was made to better position employers to provide accurate and reliable data after the COVID-19 pandemic.

Please note that the extension only impacts the 2019 EEO-1 reporting requirement. There is no indication that subsequent years will be affected.
